History

A memorial and visitor centre on Pearl Harbor with museum galleries and a boat trip to the USS Arizona Memorial. Arrive early, as timed entry fills up, and leave bags in the car because of security rules.

Pearl Harbor National Memorial includes the USS Arizona Memorial and the memorials to the USS Oklahoma and USS Utah, along with museums and exhibits. The visitor center is free to enter; you reach the USS Arizona Memorial by US Navy boat. Programs run throughout the day, with the first starting at 8 a.m. and the last departure at 3:30 p.m. (as of October 2026).

Reservations through Recreation.gov are strongly recommended but not required; limited standby tickets are available for walk-up visitors. Arrive early. Bags are not allowed in the memorial or visitor center, and paid storage is available near the entrance. Parking costs a fee, paid by app or QR code. Allow half a day for the museums and the boat program. Check the National Park Service website beforehand for current times and rules.
