Panathenaic Stadium

History

A horseshoe stadium in Pangrati that Wikipedia calls the only one in the world built entirely of marble. It staged the 1896 Olympic opening ceremony and is the finish of the Athens Classic Marathon. The Zappio tram stop is the public-transport option.
