The Fremont Street Experience is the pedestrian mall in downtown Las Vegas. The canopy under which the light show runs is about 1,375 feet (419 m) long and roughly 90 feet (27 m) high, with more than 49 million LED lamps. Shows run every hour on the hour from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. (as of October 2026); admission is free.

Fremont Street is also historically significant: the Golden Gate, opened in 1906 as the Hotel Nevada, is considered the city’s oldest hotel. There is also the SlotZilla zipline. The best time to visit is in the evening; one to two hours is enough for a stroll. Nearby parking garages are convenient. Note that the street under the canopy is outdoors and does not shield you from heat or wind.
