## Before you go

- A free shuttle runs the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive for much of the year, and private cars aren't allowed on it then.
- Angels Landing needs a permit from a lottery.
- The Narrows is a hike up the river itself. Check the flow and flash-flood forecast first.

## Planning

Stay in Springdale and walk to the pedestrian entrance to skip the parking lots. The Zion–Mount Carmel Highway tunnel has size limits, and large RVs need an escort for a fee.
