## No tracking cookies

CampingSpirit does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not build cross-site user profiles.

## What is stored on your device

localStorage: settings (language, units, theme), favourites, trips and your sign-in session. IndexedDB: travel diary, documents and photos you add, and data kept for offline use. Service worker cache: copies of app files and map and route data so that the app also works offline. This data stays in your browser and is only transmitted if you use synchronisation with your account.

## Why no consent is needed

This storage is technically necessary to provide the functions you have requested. Under Swiss law and the EU ePrivacy rules, no consent is required for it; we inform you about it here.

## Optional features

Consent is only requested where it is required — for example if non-essential analytics or third-party features (such as Google sign-in or embedded third-party content) are enabled that store or read information on your device. Plausible Analytics, if enabled, works without cookies. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), but only if you allow statistics. You can withdraw consent at any time in the settings.

## Deleting data

You can delete stored data at any time in the app settings or via your browser settings ("clear site data"). Please note that trips, diary entries and documents stored only locally will then be lost permanently unless you have exported or synchronised them.
